It is very important to use modern irrigation methods for optimal water management and to prevent waste of rich soil materials. In this research, the effect of irrigation method (drip irrigation and surface irrigation) on some physical and chemical parameters of different soil layers of olive farm in Semnan Province Agricultural and Natural Resources Research Center, which was irrigated by surface irrigation method in the past years It was paid. In this way, two plots of land with an area of 2.5 hectares, which were adjacent to each other and were irrigated with the above-mentioned two methods, were selected to investigate the effect of this type of irrigation on some soil characteristics, including the physical and chemical characteristics of the soil. During the years 1393 and 1398, it should be investigated and evaluated in different soil layers. The results indicated that the irrigation method has a significant effect on EC, CEC, OC and TNV of different soil layers, but it has no effect on the pH value. The D98 system increased the soil salinity of the surface layer compared to the F93 and F98 treatments. The CEC value of the middle layer of D98 treatment is higher than the surface and bottom layer, but in F98 treatment, cations were transferred to the lower layers due to the high depth of water in each irrigation. The amount of TNV in soil layers was higher in D98 treatment than in F98 treatment. Irrigation method has a very significant effect on the value of Ɵm and ρb and a significant effect on the value of Ɵv. D98 treatment increased Ɵm and Ɵv and decreased ρb of soil layers due to low irrigation frequency.
